INTERVIEW: Doug Oakley - SANFL commentator

Doug Oakley's career as a sports broadcaster spans 45 years, in which time he has called hundreds of SANFL matches, as well as many other country league games. Oakley currently spearheads radio station, 1079 Life's coverage of the SANFL.

In this interview, Oakley discusses his memories of St Kilda's famous premiership triumph in the 1966 VFL Grand Final, starting out in football broadcasting, the best individual performances he's called and his tips for aspiring commentators.
